I’ve been lending my voice in marketing for nearly three years and, like all introverts forced on stage, that’s included moments of awkward baritones, eardrum-cracking vocal breaks and, unexpectedly, pure creative genius. But I’m a tad biased and lack humility.

I dove head first into the industry in 2017 by joining D.C. startup Wexler LLC as an executive assistant before they learned that I knew how to write. Under the guidance and watchful eye of D.C. sales master and entrepreneur Zeev Wexler, I managed dual roles as his executive assistant and the company’s go-to copywriter, publishing numerous blog articles, social posts and web copy for the company and many of their clients in financial management, cardiac health, chimney maintenance and repair, dryer vent services and drug & alcohol detox. I went even as far as doing something I wasn’t even hired for by assisting their client, California Coast Detox & Rehabilitation (CCDR), with call intake and distribution for potential clients, and even threw my introverted tush in front of the camera for video ads and commercials shoots for CCDR and the former restaurant discount creator, Spotluck.

In 2018, I left Wexler to join Divine Mercy University, a nonprofit graduate school for the psychological sciences that instruct through a holistic, Catholic-Christian meta-model of the human person, serving in another dual role as the university’s new marketing and admissions associate. I was heavily involved in the admissions process for hundreds of incoming applicants while at the same time managing the university’s blog, creating articles covering topics pertaining to mental health, contributing to the social media and email campaigns for three graduate level programs and leading the email and content campaigns for the university’s Spiritual Direction Certificate program until March of 2020. I’ve interviewed some of the top minds in psychology, including psychologists Dr. Paul Vitz and Dr. William Nordling, and have even interviewed the internet Catholic sensation Sam Guzman, a.k.a. the Catholic Gentleman.

I’ve also served as a freelance sports reporter for the Gainesville Times and the Fauquier Times biweekly newspapers from 2010-2012, and even covered the general news and public safety beats. For the Culpeper Times, I conducted interviews with Rixeyville, VA, duo The Shields Brothers as they attempted to take the music scene by storm on NBC’s second season of “The Voice“.

Today, I work as a merchandiser for Total Wine and More in Chantilly, where I’m developing a snobbish palate for wine and beer. I also serve as a copywriting and editorial subcontractor with SteppeMedia.

When I’m not working, I enjoy watching or playing soccer. We’re huge D.C. United and U.S. Soccer fans in my house, and also epic fans of Borrusia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga, and the Washington Capitals right here in D.C. I live in Fairfax, Virginia, with my wife Terri and our miracle son Jude, who started 2020 by celebrating his 1st birthday. Terri and I also enjoy exploring the wine and craft brew scenes of D.C. and Virginia. Sometimes, when he’s awake, we let Jude drive the car.

I’m also a published poet and some of my stuff can be found on Instagram @kambache_poetry. My work has been published by Local Gems Press for the 2019, 2020 and 2021 editions of NoVA Bards Anthology of Northern Virginia Poetry, including my favorite one thus far, “A Discussion With My Preemie”, which chronicles a mere fraction of my family’s 6 month-long experience with our son in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. Little by little, I’m also working towards putting my first collection of poems together for publication.

If you haven’t done so already, I would love it if you took a look at my resume.
